Personal campaigns

You don’t need to be involved with one of our events to raise money for the Foundation.  Over the years we have had a number of people approach us and offer to raise money and awareness of the Foundation through their own function or event.  We are very grateful for the efforts of all of our supporters and hope that we will continue to see many more creative, and often, challenging endeavours in the coming years.

All fundraising, sponsorship and donations made towards Operation Flinders and the events they present can now be processed online via MyCause. MyCause is an online fundraising system whereby more funds can be raised by an individual or organisation more efficiently.

MyCause makes the fundraising process simple and allows the fundraiser to reach more people more quickly and effectively. Just click Build your own fundraising page and you will be redirected.

Past Motivational Events

In August 2007, Bronwyn Cadd and Catherine Schaefer, Paramedics for the SA Ambulance Service embarked on a journey from the Adelaide City centre to Port Lincoln via the ferry to raise funds for Operation Flinders. The total distance walked was 350km over eight days – an average of a marathon a day. Bronwyn and Catherine’s efforts realised an incredible $18,000 for the Foundation – a magnificent achievement.

In May 2007, our very own Jonathon Robran (Development and Regional Chapter Manager) walked the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea to raise funds for Operation Flinders. “I can honestly say the trek was one of the toughest and most challenging, yet greatest and most memorable experiences of my life. It is challenge I would strongly recommend others aspire to achieve” encouraged Jonathon. This project raised an amazing $45,000 for Operation Flinders, providing the funds for three teams of young people to participate in the program.
